Michael Ellsberry founded Anchor Financial Services out of a genuine passion for helping small business owners succeed. He grew up in a small business and carried that entrepreneurial spirit through his education at the University of Texas at Austin and across a career spanning multiple industries — including his family's Marine & Industrial Supplies business, loan brokerage, and more than 13 years as a small business consultant.
Mike also served as President of the Dallas Boat Show. His first-hand knowledge across a wide variety of trades gives clients invaluable insight into what it truly takes to operate a successful business.

When helping you secure a loan, our first approach is to be paid by the lending institution — meaning there may be no charge to you at all.
If we cannot find a lender to cover our fee, we only expect payment once you've accepted a loan offer — typically 1% of the gross loan value.
For consulting work, our fee is earned only after we've delivered a completed report. We never charge for work in progress.
Our fee is based on an hourly rate against a total maximum estimate — and you always pay the lesser of the two. No billing surprises.
